Bakutel is not only the largest IT exhibition in the Caspian region, but also a unique business platform for networking, where strong contacts are made and issues of mutually beneficial cooperation are discussed.
For 25 years, the exhibition annually gathers leaders of the telecommunications market, being a successful arena for demonstrating IT products and services.
The delegation of the Republic of Belarus led by the Minister of Communications and Informatization Konstantin Shulgan took an active part in the work of Bakutel-2019.
The national stand of Belarus was visited by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva, Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramin Guluzade, Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union Houlin Zhao and other officials who arrived at the Bakutel 2019 exhibition.

This year, the collective stand of organizations in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) of Belarus was presented under the general concept of “Belarus – a country of digital opportunities.”
Guests and participants of the exhibition were presented the achievements of the Republic of Belarus in the field of communications and ICT. Bakutel also became a platform for discussing areas for further development of mutually beneficial Belarusian-Azerbaijani cooperation in the field of communications and informatization, including using the potential of the International TIBO Forum, which is held annually in Minsk and is the largest professional event in the region in the field of ICT.
The XXVII International ICT Forum TIBO will be held in Minsk from May 18 to 22, 2020.
